Ceramics: Open Workshop

Open Workshop spaces are available to individuals with some pottery experience to work on and practice ceramic art. Clay for use in our studios must be purchased at the Shadbolt Front Office (includes glaze and firing costs). Purchase clay at least 24 hours in advance over the phone: 604-297-4440. If you have never attended an Open Workshop, please see the tech on duty for a quick orientation when you arrive. Registering for this space allows limited access to the Kiln Shed depending on room capacity, please ask the tech prior to glazing. Full refunds are available up to 24 hours in advance of the start time, and can be processed through the Front Office. Registration for each week of open workshop sessions opens on Monday at 10 am for the following week beginning Monday (or Tuesday if registration day is a statutory holiday). Patrons are limited to registering for a maximum of two open workshops per week (Monday-Sunday) and will be withdrawn from open workshops that exceed the maximum limit.
